100th Anniversary Celebrations

The Wilmington Train Station is in the midst of celebrating its 100th Anniversary! The first train left the elevated tracks of the station on January 28, 1907 and the station was fully complete and handed over to the railroad on July 8, 1908.

As the final celebration of this centennial celebration, FFRD will hold Home for the Holidays on Sunday, Dec. 7 from noon to 4 p.m.

The free event will be held at the station and will include live entertainment, giveaways, a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts by the Delaware Children's Museum, Sant Claus, free food, artisans selling gifts, model trains and much more!
